Precast Concrete
This division has served as the foundation of Building Erection Services Co., Inc., as this type of work was the sole focus of the company's efforts for it first eight years in business.
In addition to serving as company president, Bill Miller heads up this division. Miller, whose own experience with precast erection goes back nearly as far as the beginning stages of that type of construction in the early 1950s, has a wealth of experience and knowledge that many other construction firms erecting precast concrete just can't match. Told early on in his career that "If you can get skilled at this, you'll be able to make a living forever," Miller has heeded that advice and built a firm that delivers the highest quality in precast erection services.
Some of the projects the company's precast division has worked on in the past include the following: the new control tower at Kansas City International Airport, 310 Broadway Square at 11th and Broadway in downtown Kansas City, the Sprint building at 8140 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Mo., and the parking garages at both the Sam's Town and Harrah's casinos. Since 1977, the company has erected 792 projects in nine different states.
